Petrushka is professionally trained as a Video Cinematographer, and holds a Master's Degree in Screenwriting from London, England. She has won several international awards; the one that she is most proud of, because it marked the beginning of her completely digital production company, was a doccumentary titled 'GIFTS FROM OUR FOREMOTHERS', which garnered the 'Spirit of the Moondance Award' from the International Film Festival - MoonDance (2006).
"By-the-way, this award was nothing to do with dance! - Unless you agree that our lives are 'choreographed' to dance from one stage to the next."
She lived and worked in Europe for over 20 years, and has extensive experience working as a 'Concept Artist' in producing promotional materials for the Performing Arts.
Petrushka, "she who dances with camera ..." captures and celebrates the immediacy, energy and narrative of your dance. Intimate camera's angles, combined with your talent provides a unique opportunity to produce 'Video Dance Art' that's truly moving--no pun intended!
This style of documenting the Performing Arts utilizes all the skill sets involved in the creation of good Cinema. It's a new Fusion Art gifted to us and made affordable by the digital age.

Why Dance ... ?
Why not? Dance is our Mother Tongue; it doesn't need translated. it's pure Mime, it unifies and therefore heals... it's gift is magical because it travels the shortest distance known... the space that we imagine separates our hearts.
Why dance? Why not..? A plethora of well researched studies on the benefit of 'Dance' has harvested information which confirms that dancing is not only good exercise, it induces an altered state of consciousness proving beneficial to our entire being. Dancing summons more aspects of our being, and draws them into a harmonious concert than any other single activity. Just try and be miserable while dancing.. try staying worried... .or angry....or fearful whle dancing. Go on try!
Wherever you are, whoever you are...if you love to dance, or enjoy watching dancers, we want to hear from you. We are on a Mission to Fuse the World through Dance.
if like myself, you are not a 'professional dancer' yet your heart becomes one each time you watch a dancer then you're part of this Revolution. Could you ever imagine doing or wishing harm to anyone you had danced with... I didn't think so.
One day we will truly understand that we are connected... we will know this to be more than a fashionable and cliche notion or a bit of glib poetry. Awakening to the fact that we're all standing upon the same world, whose wellbeing is in our keeping... and that
